While Niantic Labs’ Pokemon Go might have surpassed the $1 billion revenue milestone in just six months, Supercell’s Clash Royale has now achieved the same feat. But, it took the said gaming phenomenon, which followed pursuit to Clash of Clans, took nearly a year to now end up with these revenue figures.

A couple days ago, Supercell posted strong yearly earnings on the back of its “hit game” Clash Royale. But, the company decided not to reveal the performance and revenue figures of specific games. But mobile intelligence firm Sensor Tower has revealed that Clash Royale has helped them bring in revenues in excess of $1 billion within the first year. And raking in over a billion dollars is a huge achievement for this strategy based mobile game.

The massive number represents the global dominance of the mobile game. This also shows us that the said game accounted for nearly half of the total revenue, i.e $2.3 billion, for the complete year 2016. But, that not all as the said gaming phenomenon also brought in five times the revenue which Supercell had earned in the first year, post the launch of Clash of Clans.

This games can be easily downloaded through app markets like getapk latest which helps you download any paid app for free and I think yo should must check this out!

There is a massive difference in revenues made by the company in its first year, with regards to the success of both the games. And the same has also been analysed by Sensor Tower but it is of the opinion that the lack of an Android version shouldn’t have hampered the growth by such a massive factor. Commenting on the growth of the game, Randy Nelson, head of mobile insights at Sensor Tower, says,

Even considering the lack of an Android version of Clash of Clans in its first six months, the difference is staggering—and shows how far not just Supercell, but the ability of free-to-play mobile titles to generate revenue from in-app transactions, have come in four short years.

Further, the research adds that the growth and revenue stream for the game slowed down at the time of the launch of Pokemon Go in July of last year. But, the mobile user for the AR-based nostalgia-plagued mobile game lost interest sooner than anyone could’ve expected. Thus, the other gaming phenomenon, Clash Royale, pipped Pokemon Go to reach the Top 10 grossing apps in the U.S App Store.

Now, on one hand, Pokemon Go is looking to generate interest and bring back users with the addition of Gen 2 Pokemon and new features. Clash Royale, on the other, is planning to continue with the introduction of new content, special events, and improvements to keep the ball rolling.
