Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone — Galaxy S8 has been leaked several times and the company has also teased this device, without revealing anything about the phone.

However, as with every flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8 has been leaked, again. Ahead of its launch, VentureBeat has managed to get its hands on images of the Galaxy S8 smartphone.

The leaked image reveals the front and back of the handset. The photos appear to corroborate previous rumors suggesting the device will boast an “edge” screen, with downward curves on both sides of the phone. The smartphone will be running on the latest Android Nougat OS, with company’s own custom UI on top.

As per the reports, there will be two variants of the Galaxy S8 — one with a 5.8-inch display, while the other one with a 6.2-inch screen. It further suggests that the display will take up around 83% of the front panel in each model. The displays will both be QHD Super AMOLED.

It looks like the company has bid goodbye to the physical navigation keys in this upcoming model. As of the processor, the company will continue its tradition of two variants, based on region. There will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, while another will be a 10-nanometer processor bearing the Samsung Exynos brand.

Each model will have 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of built-in storage. Both models will support 256GB microSD cards as well. The battery packed in the device will measure in at 3000mAh and 3500mAh, for the 5.8- and 6.2-inch models, respectively.

The camera on the back will be a 12-megapixel shooter, which, as per the report, will offer a visual search feature, bringing up icons on the display to let the owner decide and search for something. The front-facing camera will be an 8-megapixel shooter, with iris-scanning capabilities.

Further, the report also indicates that Samsung’s artificial intelligence, Bixby, will indeed be present on the handset. This is in competition with Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana.

As far as a release date is concerned, the report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S8 could launch on 29th March at an Unpacked event in New York city.
