ScoopWhoop, the popular news and entertainment platform acquires Touchfone Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a video streaming company. The company specializes in video streaming, video on demand, and live streaming alongside having its own video streaming platform Strmeasy.

Post acquisition, Sattvik Mishra, CEO ScoopWhoop Media delightfully commented,

We’re very excited to have Strmeasy technology comes on board. Their unique technology is going to define the publishing spaces of ScoopWhoop, VagaBomb and Gazabpost, both from user acquisition and revenue point of view.

ScoopWhoop plans to boost up its advertising offerings with newly on boarded member Strmeasy which provides end-to-end video solutions in best quality. Further, the company will enhance its video ads alongside ensuring that the brand reaches its technological heights. The acquisition will also assist ScoopWhoop in delivering, monetizing and streaming videos in low bandwidths seamlessly. It currently holds offices in Delhi and Mumbai and will set up an office in Bangalore very soon as a result of the recent acquisition.

Speaking upon Touchfone Technology, it is a video delivery platform which delivers content over wireless devices such as Feature Phones, Smartphones, Tablets, TV and Gaming Consoles like Xbox over any range of network (2G, 3G or 4G).

The deal will also modify the leadership council for Strmeasy. Current founders for Strmeasy Mahesh and Brahmayya will now hold the offices for Chief Technology Officer and Chief Integration Officer respectively under ScoopWhoop Media.

Giving a brief comment on the same, Brahmayya said,

Both Mahesh and I are very enthusiastic about this change, and are hoping to do some exciting work with ScoopWhoop.

The company has soared within the past few years, starting from 2013. It has multiple properties including the flagship portal ScoopWhoop, GazabPost – Hindi Portal, Women Centric Portal VagaBomb and Videos. Further, the media platform has huge presence over the internet delivering content for audience in the age bracket of 16-30 year old.
