In a bid to promote probably its only unsuccessful product in the Indian market, Motorola today announced a temporary price cut of Rs 5000 for Moto 360 Smart watch, across all of its variants .

The leather variant which was originally priced at Rs 17,999, will be now available for Rs 12,999 while the metal variant which launched just last week will be available for Rs.14,999. It was originally priced at Rs 19,999.

Motorola confirms in a press note that “the watches will only be available till the stocks last or till the offer ends and can be purchased through Flipkart exclusively“. Flipkart is selling the Moto 360 leather variant in Two color options Grey and Black, while the metal variants are available in Black and Silver color options.

The Moto 360, which was launched in India in September 2014 has been widly acclaimed for its innovative design which comes along at an affordable price. It has a 1.5-inch backlit LCD display with 320×290 pixels resolution and It weighs just 49 grams, has 46mm diameter and is 11.5mm high.

In terms of specifications,It comes with 4GB of internal storage and is powered by a Texas Instruments OMAP 3 with 512MB RAM. It has a 320mAh battery and comes with Bluetooth 4.0. The smartwatch is compatible with most devices running Android 4.3 or above. The Moto 360 is waterproof up to 3.3 feet for up to 30 minutes, as claimed by Motorola.
