Intel ‘s self-invention process has finally started to pick up some speed. “Carry your computer on a stick”, believe me, I’m not writing gibberish. Intel has turned this into reality…

With the Intel’s new Compute Stick turn any HDMI display into a fully functional computer running on windows 8.1 or UBUNTU. Surprised?.

This new dongle is a 4 inch HDMI miracle with a pre istalled operating system. It comes with a Quad core Atom processor , 2 gigabytes of RAM, a memory card slot for storage upto 32 gb (yes, that’s right) and built-in wireless connectivity (802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth).

For now, Intel is planning to charge 149$ for the Windows variant and 89$ for the one that comes with UBUNTU. The price will obviously reduce if you can settle for 1 GB of RAM and a reduced storage ( say 8 GB) .

This latest surprise by Intel indicates that the company does not want to fall behind in making smaller machines.

Intel is aiming to release the Compute Stick by March. Keep yourself updated by clicking here .
