We told you, that Redmi 1S is round the corner. And here it is. After we broke the jinx on Redmi1S launch yesterday, Xiaomi has now officially sent invites for a launch event to be held on August 26th.
As far as the sale is concerned, Xiaomi will be putting up the Redmi1S for sale, anytime next week. It will be inetersting to see as to how many units Xiaomi puts up for sale.
Redmi 1S will be priceed at Rs.8000. The pricing makes it look like an entry level smartphone, but it is not. For Rs. 8000, you get a quad core 1.7 Ghz Snapdragon 400 chip-set, powered by an equally powerful Adreno 305 GPU. Also, the phone features 4.7 inch, full HD IPS display. The phone comes with 8 GB of in-built memory.
