Dropsuite, a global cloud based software platform enabling small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to backup, recover and protect their digital assets, has partnered with Singapore-based ICONZ-Webvisions (iWV), a cloud and managed services provider. 

This partnership with leading global brands helps it to reach even more customers on a reseller basis, allowing it to focus on its best-in-class products and services capabilities for the cloud-backup solutions market, claims Dropsuite.

Dropsuite aims to provide affordable and reliable one-click data backup to iWV’s network of 40,000 customers in Asia. iWV claims that its customers include small and medium businesses, in addition to larger enterprises such as 3M, Cycle & Carriage, Drew & Napier, OSIM, Hong Leong Finance, and MCL Land.

According to Charif Elansari, CEO, Dropsuite it is incredibly important for businesses everywhere to safely and securely backup and protect their data. He continues to state,

As online channels drive more of the top and bottom line, a reliable and effective backup solution keeps the business running. It also gives peace of mind so that managers can focus on what’s most important: serving the customer.

Under the agreement, Dropsuite recognises iWV as a gold partner, referring to a classification system that Dropsuite uses for its reseller partnerships. According to the company the privileges of a gold partner include API, plug-ins tools, email support, remote training , basic white label and account management support.

iWV is also recognized as the official reseller of Dropmysite’s Website Backup, Dropmyemail’s Office 365 Email Backup & Archiving and DSE Server Backup, each of which is a one-click solution for website, email and server cloud backup. Dropmysite is also the cloud-backup service of choice for businesses purchasing bundled professional services from iWV.

The iWV partnership comes a few weeks after Dropsuite partnered with LeaderTelecom, a Netherlands-based premium telecom service provider and European player in online security. In April 2016, Dropsuite partnered with US-based Ingram Micro, a renowned technology distributor.

Dropmysite was in the news in January 2016 for its bold attempt to go public on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). They decided to take the opportunity to rebrand itself to Dropsuite. Its products, previously under the brands Dropmysite (website backup), Dropmyemail (email backup), and Dropmymobile (phone backup), will now be part of the overall Dropsuite brand.
