In what could come as a major setback and introspection time for India’s technology sector, the Bombay Stock Exchange was forced to shut down due to a network outage.
As per reports coming just now, the BSE has asked all stocks to shut down following a network outage. A team from HCL Technologies has reached to work on the damage and start the repair work.
As for a statement from BSE, a BSE spokesperson told Reuters
There are some connectivity issues. We are issuing a statement soon
The outage was first noted by some dealers when Shares listed on BSE as well as its indexes stopped updating on Thursday morning due to a connectivity issue.

BSE has now issued an official statement :
There’s will be fresh restart and will have a special pre-opening season. Previous orders in order book before outage to be cancelled.
