Do you have a Xbox? Well, you might want to make sure it is in working order come June. Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service is slated to go live come the 1st of June and users are going to get a load of new titles on a subscription basis — including games for both the Xbox One, and the Xbox 360.
Microsoft isn’t reinventing the wheel here. Subscription based services with regards to games have already been in existence and companies like Sony, have thriving businesses based upon the success of its PlayStation now subscription service. Microsoft’s service is pretty similar except that it will be geared towards the Redmond giant’s own offerings.
So here is how things will work. You can pay out $11.99 every month and in return you will get a slew of exciting titles to enjoy on your device. The service is already open to Live Gold members but if you don’t hold the title, you may have to wait until the 1st of June to start accessing and playing the 100 or so titles made available to you.
Interestingly, you can even download the titles available in the library. So, you can play the titles available in in the library even when offline. The titles available for game play include the likes of Halo 5: Guardians and Lego Batman, so watch out!
