Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has today announced the launch of his very own mobile application christened as ‘100MB Cricket’, dedicated to his fans across the globe. 100MB Cricket is available on both iOS and Android platforms and developed by JetSynthesys, a subsidiary of JetLine Group of Companies. The app incorporates a ‘Live chat with Sachin’ section for fan engagement, apart from showcasing latest scores, schedules and player statistics.

The app has been envisioned by Sachin himself along with his team SRT Sports Management. To boost up the app’s visibility amid the App store, popular singer ‘Sonu Nigam’ will be live on the app on Sunday at 10 PM voicing a special feature song for the app. The app’s name has been abbreviated for cricket’s 100 international centuries for India and his conventional nickname, ‘Master Blaster’.

Speaking of his digital venture, Sachin said,

Many of you and my friends have asked me what are you going to do in your second innings of life. The first innings went on for 24 years. There are a number of things which I am involved in, but something which I am looking forward to starting soon, in fact now, is the digital innings.

The other highlights of the app include live feeds, chats, and discussions about cricket. It also brings in a special Live Forum wherein fans will get an opportunity to interact with iconic crickets from time to time.

As IPL is soon to ring the bell, the app will offer insights from the matches such as clips of post-match scenes for each match, match predictions, score analysis, and special contests for active users. The winners of the contest will receive Sachin merchandise as give-away prizes. Social media sharing on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter has also been embedded in the app to share interactions with cricketers.

You can earn reward points termed as ‘runs’ by engaging in various activities on the app. These reward points can be later exchanged for offers powered by JetExchange. The app was advertised by Sachin on his twitter account welcoming users to his digital innings.
