Samsung is going to announce its flagship smartphone — Galaxy S8 on 29th of this month, and the device is expected to go on sale from April 28. There have been numerous leaks of the phone, revealing almost everything.

Surprisingly, there are few features that were not leaked till now, even though we have seen a lot of talk surrounding the smartphone since quite some time. As per the latest rumors, the Galaxy S8 is said to be able to record videos at 1,000 frames per second.

The feature will be available for the 12-megapixel camera which has been placed at the back of the phone. A Korean website reported that Samsung will be adding an unknown amount of DRAM into the Galaxy S8’s camera sensor so it will be able to handle that kind of high frame rate recording for videos.

This website also claims that the phone will have an 8MP front-facing camera with an autofocus feature. Further, it claims that the rumored iris scanner on the front of the Galaxy S8 will reportedly have its own 3.7MP RGB camera sensor.

Recently, another set of images of S8 were launched, showing off the device in its full glory. As per the leaks, the Galaxy S8 will be available with a huge 5.8-inch screen whereas the Plus model will feature a 6.2-inch display.

The company is also expected to follow the trend with the inclusion of an AI voice assistant called Bixby that will be accessible through a fourth hardware button on the left.

Do note that nothing has been confirmed by Samsung, so all the information with a pinch of salt. However, we will know everything about the smartphone once it gets launched on 29th March. Along with Galaxy S8, reports suggests that the company will also launch S8+.
