If you wanted to buy the Google Pixel smartphone, now is the perfect time. The Mountain View-based tech giant’s own-brand flagship smartphone — Google Pixel, is currently available at a discount with offers, which are worth around Rs 29,000.

The phone, which is priced at Rs 57,000 is now available on Flipkart for a cashback discount of Rs 9,000. Further, there is also exchange discount worth Rs 20,000 available for those with a smartphone to spare. Thus, the total effective discount stands at Rs 29,000. It’s noteworthy that the offer is only available on Google Pixel and not on its bigger variant, the Google Pixel XL.

The effective price for the 128GB version of the device comes down to Rs 37,000, from its original price of Rs 66,000. At Rs 28,000 for the basic model, the phone’s price is same as the OnePlus 3.

While the exchange offer worth Rs 20,000 is only available through Flipkart, the cashback offer worth Rs 9,000 on Citi Credit Cards is also available at Reliance Digital, Chroma, and a few other retail outlets.

The Google Pixel smartphone was first launched in India on October 31, 2016. It features a 5-inch full-HD AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It packs inside a 2770mAh battery with fast-charging technology.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM. There is an 8 MP front-facing camera powered by Sony IMX179 sensor and a 12.3 MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor. The smartphone runs latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box.

Along with built-in Google Assistant, the devices come with a robust battery backup and unlimited cloud storage space to store all your videos and photos. It also has a bunch of add-ons, including Daydream VR-compatibility, Google Duo and more.

With Pixel smartphones, Google has let-go of its ‘Nexus’ lineup, and has also streamlined the naming scheme for all its devices. Although the phone has been manufactured by HTC, it’s the first device to come without any OEM branding.
