Recently, UBER has announced new job openings in Dhaka, a hint that UBER is soon starting operation in Bangladesh. Ride hailing services are already in existence with TOMA, BDCab.com, but none is offering an app-based service.
Well, keeping in mind the opportunities, Uber is sure to get a good response from the new market, but still a lot depends on their market penetration strategy. With the rise of UBER, local ride-hailing start-ups are about to face an intense competition but that is good, because end users will get a wide range of options, and may be better quality in terms in service.
The recruits, that UBER asked for are Marketing Manager, Operations & Logistics Manager, and General Manager. It is known that the 5 years old ride hailing startup-UBER, is look ing for new growth opportunities but there was no formal announcement about its launch in Dhaka.
