So you thought newsletters (and e-mail as a whole) are dead ? Well, they are not, and we believe, they would never be. Why ? Because even though we have Slack (the literal e-mail killer) and numerous other IM services, e-mail continues to be an indispensable part of our life, at least our corporate life.
We are thus launching our newest newsletter, Funding Daily.

The name itself makes everything pretty clear. Funding Daily will guarantee, that you receive the most comprehensive and the most curated content on Indian and Global startup funding updates. While our focus continues to remain on India, we’ll occasionally send a few global updates as well, which is affirmative for creating a globally recognised digital platform we aim to become.
Let us also tell you, that we have received some tremendous response for our Tech Daily newsletter, with over 3K subscribers within the first couple of months of its launch. With the launch of Funding Daily, we are also revamping our Tech Daily newsletter. You’ll now receive a brand new format for the same.
Both these newsletters now also have a fixed delivery time as well ! We did this, so that you can schedule your daily reading time at these specific timeframes for getting up-to-date with the latest trends on startups and technology. While Tech Daily will arrive in your mailboxes at 10:00 AM (IST) [04:30 A.M. GMT]every morning, we’ll shoot up Funding Daily at ) 08:00 P.M. (IST) [02:30 P.M. GMT] every evening.

As for certain other smaller changes and new product launches, you will now be able to see more stories on our front-page itself, as we have integrated an all-new carousel, which slides automatically to show you the most relevant story. While this change isn’t that huge, but we received a lot of user feedback for the same, and have hence implemented it.
Also, as you must have already seen in our announcement bar (top), we’ll soon be launching ProRev, a one-of-its-kind professional reviewing platform for new-age/start-up products. It is perhaps the first such platform globally, wherein apart from The Tech Portal’s editorial team, we’ll invite VCs, startup founders and other notable figures in the startup ecosystem to review specific products. We’ll be announcing our reviewing panel shortly. The platform will feature two reviews every week, and which will be on an invite-only basis for the time being.
