Apple has finally laid all speculations to rest, by officially announcing the launch date of its new iPhones in India. In a press release, Apple has stated that the two iPhones will be launching on October 17, with pre-orders starting fro October 7.
Earlier today, we reported leaked prices of the two new iPhones along with the expected launch date. As per the report, Apple is likely to launch iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus in India at a price of ₹53,500 and ₹62,500 respectively for 16GB variants on October 17.
The 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6 will be priced at₹ 62,500 and ₹71,500 respectively while the 64Gb and 128GB iPhone 6 plus will cost ₹71,500 and ₹80,500 respectively. iPhone 5s was launched with a price tag of ₹53,500 which is exactly the same as the expected price for iPhone 6.
