No need to adjust your selfies or arty landscapes in other apps before uploading them to Instagram . For Instagram has added all new photo editing tools to its photo app.
The photo-sharing service announced 10 new editing tools on Tuesday for both iOS and Android. In addition to new adjustments like contrast, brightness and saturation, Instagramâs filters have also been tweaked; users can now adjust the filterâs intensity with a slide bar.
The full list of editing tools include Adjust (lets you crop and straighten photos simultaneously), brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation, highlights, shadows, vignette, sharpen and filter strength (the border tool is now within the filter strength setting, too).
As Instagram explains it in a blog post: âWhen you reach the filter selection stage, youâll now see a new wrench icon. Tap it and youâll find a tray of photo editing tools ready for you to explore. You can also now adjust how much of a filter you apply to a photo by double tapping the filter icon.â
