Google Pixel 3 Lite

Google is all set to launch the third smartphone in its Pixel 3 lineup — Google Pixel 3 Lite. As the name suggests, the phone is expected to be a toned-down variant of its flagship smartphone and could be a mid-range device.

Ahead of the phone’s launch, a few images of the Pixel 3 Lite has surfaced online, comparing the upcoming smartphone with a bunch of other phones, including the iPhone X and Pixel 3 XL. Along with that, the phone’s specifications has also leaked online.

The Google Pixel 3 Lite is said to come with the same design as the Pixel 3 but will have plastic build instead of the glass back. It will feature a 5.56-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution.

Under the hood, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 octa-core chipset, which is the successor of the very capable Snapdragon 660 mid-range octa-core processor. It will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, without support for expandable storage.

As for the camera, reports indicate that the Pixel 3 Lite will feature the same camera as the Pixel 3. Thus, there will be a 12.2MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper. Being a Pixel smartphone, it will be running the latest Android 9 Pie OS out-of-the-box. The phone is rumored to be powered by a 2,915mAh battery
