HMD Global has today officially launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus in the Indian market, for a price of Rs. 10,999. Earlier, the company has announced the smartphone in India along with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, but the phone’s pricing was not revealed.
In India, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will be available in three colors, that includes Black, Blue and White. It is currently available for pre-order exclusively via Flipkart and Nokia Online Store, and will go on sale from 1st October.
As for the specs, the phone comes with a 5.86-inch HD+ 2.5D curved display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and expandable memory support up to 400GB with microSD card slot. There’s also a fingerprint sensor, mounted on the phone’s back panel.
In terms of camera, the Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor on the back. On the front side, it comes with an 8MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture and 80.4-degree wide-angle lens.
The phone’s connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. It runs on Android Oreo OS and the company has also promised the Android Pie update. It is powered by a 3,060mAh, which should be enough for a day’s usage.
In a relative news, Nokia has scheduled a launch event on October 4th in London, where the company will launch its new smartphone. While it’s not yet which phone will debut on 4th October, we expect it to be the Nokia 7.1 Plus.
