Twitter appears to be having some trouble. The social networking platform is down for users in some parts of the world. The outage was affecting users in Japan, UK and East Coast in the US however, the company has not yet provided an explanation for the same.
The issue first surfaced when Twitter said that a section of users were facing difficulties in sending tweets. The company later said that the problem was more serious and that users in certain parts of the world were having problems accessing the platform as well.
Some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter & Tweeting. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution.
The issue seems to extend to both iOS as well as the web. Android seems to be working just fine. Apart from Japan, the rest of Asia seems to be quite unafected by whatever is causing the downtime.
Meanwhile, the company is working to bring its platform back up and so far New York, Washington, UK and Japan are the regions still experiencing problems. So fellows, if you are there and Twitter isn’t working, don’t worry, it’s not you, it’s them. We will keep you updated as and when the problem gets resolved.
