Reliance Jio has announced a new offer under which the user who purchases Samsung’s latest smartphones — Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, will get huge benefits under the ‘double data’ offer.
Under this new offer, users can avail 448 GB of 4G data over 8 months with a recharge of Rs 309. The users will be entitled to 2GB data per day instead of 1 GB data cap. The benefit will be available to users for 8 months. For this, the users will have to get monthly recharge done of Rs 309.
However, this ‘double data’ offer is only available to Jio Prime users and non-Prime users won’t be able to avail it. The Rs. 509 Jio plan, which offers 2GB data per day, is not part of the Samsung offer as of now.
The Jio-Samung Double Data offer starts from May 5, the same day when the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ go on sale and will last for 8 months, which is till January.
Yesterday, Samsung launched its latest flagship smartphones — Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in India, with a price tag of Rs 57,900 (MOP) and Rs 64,900 (MOP), respectively. The latter will be available in Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and Maple Gold colour variants, while the Galaxy S8 will come in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colour options. Pre booking of the Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy S8+ have already started, with a scheduled launch date of May 5.
The devices comes with AKG earphones in the box. As per the pre-booking offers, Samsung will be also bundling a wireless charger free (Rs. 4,499) with the Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy S8.
