vivo v5s

Considering the wide popularity of its V5 selfie-focused smartphone series in India, Vivo is now planning to launch the next model –Vivo V5s on April 27th in India.

Following the design aesthetics of its Vivo V5, the Vivo V5s comes in a similar design with more or less the same hardware as well, as suggested in the leaks. The handset will also be marketed as a Selfie centric handset, similar to prior releases by Vivo.

Vivo V5s is expected to feature a metal unibody design having a 5.5-inch HD display and a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass on top. Similar to the Vivo V5, the phone is anticipated to pack in a MediaTek octa-core MT6750 chipset. The device will still be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own FunTouch OS 2.6 skin. It is likely to offer 4GB RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to additional 128GB via MicroSD card slot.

As for the optics, Vivo V5s will offer a 20-megapixel rear camera complete with Sony IMX376 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For the front, it is expected to sport a 13-megapixel camera adorned with PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. The camera specs (if turn out to be the same) look great for a mid-budget smartphone, especially the resolution of the selfie-shooter. We all know, rather than technology installed on the smartphone, a lot of Indian consumers are still attracted towards the camera quality, color, and price of the phone.

The Dual-SIM smartphone is likely to house a 3,300 mAh battery and feature every requisite connectivity feature including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone port, and a micro-USB 2.0 port. According to a report by PhoneRadar, the handset will be available for a price of ₹18,990. Although the press invite shows a black matte colour, sources say Vivo will provide you three options in the form of Space Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Vivo recently released a black matte coloured special Vivo V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition featuring an IPL engraving on the back panel. The phone is currently popular and is widely appreciated across India by IPL fans, especially for its colour and features.
