So LG really, really wants you to buy the G6. And so much so is the motivation, that they are throwing away a free Google Home device with every G6 that is bought before April 30th. The company has just announced that the device is now available for $650, via T-Mobile.
The same came up via a blog post on T-Mobile’s website, wherein it says,
If you order your LG G6 at T-Mobile before April 30th, you’ll also receive a Google Home on LG —a $129 value—at absolutely no extra cost.
To refresh your spec memory once more, the G6 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD+ ‘Full Vision’ display that has a resolution of 2880×1440 pixels with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This aspect ratio is kind of unusual and we’re not sure why LG went with it but the company itself decided to offer a detailed explanation about the Univisium technology. Also, the said display now also packs support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10, which makes it the very first smartphone to include this technology.
