EA has today put forward a brand new video for the upcoming and massively anticipated Mass Effect: Andromeda. Although it’s mostly intended to show off the bonus content that you’ll be receiving while pre-ordering the game, we’re also given a good glimpse at a little combat gameplay from the sci-fi RPG.

These pre-order bonuses consist of the Deep Space Explorer armour for game’s main protagonist Ryder, a unique skin for the Nomad vehicle, and an exclusive booster pack usable in Andromeda’s multiplayer mode. Going by the video, it does seem like this booster will allow you to accumulate experience and level up slightly quicker than by normal means.

The already mentioned gameplay very clearly seems to be from the game’s multiplayer mode and shows several characters using Biotic powers. At one point, a Krogan is shown performing a ground pound. As is noted in the trailer, the footage you’re seeing is captured within the engine and “representative of the game experience.” So, go ahead and check out the video above if you haven’t already.

BioWare hasn’t bothered to share too many details about Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer mode as of yet. But it seems to be awfully similar to the one in Mass Effect 3, which involved numerous players battling it out against waves of AI-controlled enemies. The weapons and items being delivered to you via loot boxes could be used to customise your multiplayer character and make him/her/it even more powerful.

Andromeda will finally release on March 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Just last month, EA had released a new cinematic trailer that showed off some of your going-to-be teammate characters and the big bad wolf, Archon.
