The MacBook Pro lineup is expected to see a revamp next month. Apparently, Apple is bringing in many new features to its flagship laptops to make them better. But there could be one change that might become part of a revolution.

We first heard rumours about the iPhone 7 launching without the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack several months ago. And sure enough, when the device came out, there as no audio port in sight. Now, it seems as if the Cupertino giant is considering removing the audio jack on the MacBook Pro.

Recently, Apple starting asking MacBook users to fill in a survey regarding how they use their Pros. According to some of the users, one of the questions pertains particularly to the headphone jack. The question is question (what?), reads:

“Do you ever use the headphone port on your MacBook Pro with Retina display?”

This means Apple could be considering moving to a jackless laptop in the near future.

Nothing is sure, as of yet and the rumour comes just because of that one particular question. But to be totally honest, we all knew this was coming. What with the company going wireless on the iPhone line. It might not be long until there are MacBook Pros in the market with no audio jack on them.
