Looks like Apple is having a bad Wednesday. Apple’s developer portal iTunes connect seems to be down and unavailable today, and continues to frustrate developers.

What’s worse, we don’t even know if there’s an iTunes Connect maintenance happening right now.

When you visit the official website you will see that iTunes Connect is temporarily unavailable and offline.

The simple message on the website simply says, “iTunes Connect is temporarily unavailable.”

iTunes Connect is the way for members of the iOS Developer Program and Mac Developer Program to upload their apps, edit their descriptions and metadata, and view finances earned. iTunes Connect is also used for book publishers to sell their books in Apple’s iBookstore. iOS Developer Program and Mac Developer Program can use the same iTunes Connect account to manage all associated apps.

Apple is yet to update is System Status Page regarding the same, and as of now we haven’t figured out whether the outage is region-specific or not. The downside is that developers are bound to be annoyed; they can’t update their apps till the issue is resolved, and this is a major concern for those which have time-based updates.

We will be updating the service status as and when we hear from Apple’s side. Stay tuned.

UPDATE :

The service looks online from our end. Do let us know how its performing on your end in the comments section.
