Ameyo, a Gurgaon based startup which has developed a unique customer support software platform, has today announced a fresh funding round worth $5 Million, which it has secured from Bangalore based private equity firm, Forum Synergies (India) PE Fund Managers through IKMF-I, the fund managed by them.
The funds will be used to expand into the US market, expand offerings in “Cloud Contact Center” and “Sales Acceleration Technology” space, and platform investments into stronger ISV relations in the Enterprise Contact Center Software market.
Ameyo is an advanced automation software which helps businesses across various domains to manage their customer interactions. It acts as an all-in-one communication suite for Contact Centers and Enterprises offering next-generation information and communications management capabilities including ACD, IP-PBX, CTI, IVR, Predictive dialer, Voice Logger, Unified Presence, Sales Management, Customer Care, and Reporting.
The SOA and MDA-based platform allows easy creation of new capabilities for communications-centric enterprises as they grow with respect to their process and workflow requirements.
Ameyo call center software offers complete inbound and outbound capabilities including Predictive Dialer, ACD and IVR system, Voice Logger, and pre-integrated database, CRM, and reporting capabilities.
The software has been developed by parent firm Drishti. Drishti’s CEO Bishal Kumar says,

While Ameyo will and continues to face stiff competition from similar contact center management platforms like Genesys, Five9, and Incontact, as well as certain sales acceleration software InsideSales.com, the team at Ameyo differentiates its own package from the rest on the basis of flexibility.
Ameyo’s move to wxpand its services in the U.S., is part of company’s vision to take Ameyo global after its success in Asia, Middle East and Africa Enterprise contact center markets. Ameyo received an honorable mention in the “2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant – Contact Center Infrastructure”.
Drishti, the parent company of Ameyo, was bootstrapped by Bishal Kumar, Sachin Bhatia and Nayan Jain in 2003. Today it’s about 300 people strong. With Ameyo, Drishti serves over 1500 customers in over 40 countries including names like Ola Cabs, Jabong, Bankbazaar, Tiny Owl, Mphasis, WNS, Jordan Ahli Bank, Chase Bank etc.
