Xiaomi has finally made its much talked about India debut today, with tghe launch of its first smartphone, the Mi3. The smartphone, priced at an aggressive ₹ 14,999 will be available to buy from July 15. Xiaomi is also launching its Power Bank, its much famous mobile charging unit, in two variants – 5,200mAh and 10,400mAh.

The Mi3 is Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone with a 5-inch 1080p IPS display, a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, both capable of shooting 1080p videos. The Mi3 also features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and Wi-Fi Direct. It has a massive 3,050mAh battery as well.

And what to say about the phone, its a bargain at this price, and it is definitely going to give the Indian Mobile manufacturers a run for their money. At such an aggressive pricing, and Xiaomi’s known, limited stock marketing strategy, Xiaomi is all set to take Indian smartphone market by storm.
