LGG3

The G3 is finally here. LG Electronics launched it today at a launch event which took place simultaneously in 6 cities across the globe. As LG mentions in it press release, with the G3, it aims to “redefine” the concept of smart and simple.

In an extremely lavish Launch, the LG G3 Launch event took place simultaneously in six cities around the world. The six cities being : London, New York, San Francisco, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul. The surprising part was that the launch event was neither held at an Indian city nor at a Chinese city. This is surprising since most of the companies (including Apple) have shifted their focus to customers of emerging markets like China, India and Brazil.

Well, we have been hearing rumours regarding G3 for quite some time now, and hence its specifications are something which are known to almost everyone :

LG has repeatedly mentioned that it aims to redefine the concept of smart and simple. It has tried to do this with its redesigned Graphic User Interface (GUI). This redesigned GUI is definitely the simplest you’ll ever get from LG and is also convenient to use.

Adding to it, LG also refined sophisticated technical features and advancements located on the rear by arranging them in a clean and singular layout consistent with the G3’s well-balanced design language. Then there is the stylish metallic skin with matte finish which keeps the G3 looking clean and fingerprint-free.

As far as the availability is concerned, starting on May 28 in South Korea, LG G3 will begin rolling out worldwide on over 170 carriers. The LG G3 will be available in 5 colours : Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, Burgundy Red
