With the launch in Abu Dhabi, the home services mobile marketplace is now a family established across 10 cities in India and 2 cities in UEA, the company said in a statement.

The company, founded in 2014, plans to start its operations in Abu Dhabi with over 20 service partners and will offer five services for now, including deep cleaning, maid, pest control, handymen and AC servicing and repair, and plans to add services like, home painting and packers and movers in the near future.

“Abu Dhabi has a large pool of service professionals available who are not yet online. This is a huge opportunity for UrbanClap to explore the market and tap into this latent talent and enable them to be independent micro-entrepreneurs in the coming five years,” said Abhiraj Bhal Co-founder of UrbanClap.

Urban Clap targets to expand it’s UAE business two times (month-on-month) and, is already providing market space for more than 100 businesses. It is also working on the blueprint to escalate its business further, to other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Urban Clap provides mobile marketplace for local services. It provides for housekeeping services which consist of Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Cleaning and Pest Control and, also for personal services like beauty, spa, mobile and other appliance repairs etc.
