Soon after Amazon India started teasing the launch of Huawei Y9 (2019) in the Indian market, the company has sent out media invites for the launch of the same smartphone in India on 7th January.
The smartphone, which was first announced in October last year, will be available for purchase excluisvely through Amazon in India. To know the pricing and availability information, we’ll have to wait until the device launches in India officially.
As the phone has already made its debut, it’s features and specifications are already known. It features a 6.5-inch FullView Display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Kirin 710 processor and comes with AI Power 7.0.
The Huawei Y9 (2019) packs 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage models. There’s no clarity on which variant will be launched in India. It features a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
It also sports a dual camera setup at the front, with 16-megapixel main sensor with f/1.0 aperture and another 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
