Oppo K1

Oppo has today launched its new smartphone — Oppo K1, which is the first smartphone in the company’s mid-range ‘K’ series. The phone, which comes in Van Gogh Blue and Mocha Red colors, is now available for pre-orders.

The smartphone will start shipping in China from 19th October. The 4GB RAM model is priced at CNY 1,599 ($231) while the 6GB RAM model costs CNY 1,799 ($260).

The Oppo K1 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with Waterdrop notch that offers a screen-to-body ratio up to 91% for an immersive experience. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, with either 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage.

In the camera department, it features a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera on the back side. On the front, it is fitted with a 25MP camera sensor. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity options on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, and GPS + GLONASS. It runs on ColorOS 5.2 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The phone is powered by a 3,600mAh battery.
