Wireless headphones are the latest objects of fancy for electronics manufacturers. Apple, Samsung, and a slew of other top-notch companies have been launching wireless headphones of late, and interestingly, they are selling like hot potatoes. Well, the revived Nokia has joined the ranks of global smartphone manufacturers who now have an in-house wireless headphone to go with their smartphones.
That’s right. The company has announced True Wireless Earbuds. The announcement accompanied the launch of Nokia 7.1 smartphone.
Coming to specs, the headphones offer users up to 3.5 hours of use time on a single charge. Interestingly, Nokia has built a larger capacity into the earbud’s charging box and as such, the case can charge the earbuds up to three times. You can use the earbuds to take calls, or take showers. Yes, the earbuds are waterproof.
Here are some other technical specifications:
- USB Type-C charging
- LED charge indicator
- Ultra-lightweight at only 5 grams per earbud
- Up to 3.5 hours of playback or 4 hours of talk time
- Easy setup with Universal Bluetooth 5.0 – no separate app required
- Stereo music playback and phone calls
- Single-push button spring release system
The company also launched Pro Wireless earbuds. They are similar to the True Wireless Earbuds however, the Pro version is connected to a neckband. It also offers a significantly larger use time of up to 10 hours of use, and can alert you to incoming calls by vibrating.
