Honor Play, which was launched in India a couple of months ago in two color options — Navy Blue and Midnight Black, will now be available in a new third color option — Ultra Violet.
The Ultra Violet edition of the Honor Play will go on sale in India from today on Amazon India. The phone is also available in limited quantities on Honor’s official website HiHonor as well.
The base variant, which packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, will now be available on open sale through Amazon India in three color options — Ultra Violet, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black.
The budget gaming smartphone features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by the company’s own Kirin 970 octa-core processor along with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU.
It comes with a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and a 16MP front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling. The phone, which comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, is running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the company’s EMUI custom UI on top.
Since the smartphone is targeted towards those who are into gaming, the phone comes with Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology, which claims to improve the phone’s performance by around 30 percent.
Connectivity options on the device include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The phone is powered by a 3,750mAh battery with support for fast charging.
