An unannounced Nokia smartphone from HMD Global, carrying model number TA-1131, has been spotted on TENAA, hinting at its imminent launch. The TA-1131 is believed to be the Nokia 7.1 Plus, which could get launched on 4th October.

The upcoming smartphone’s design seems similar to that Nokia 7 Plus, featuring a vertically-aligned dual rear camera setup and a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. The TENAA listing reveals that the phone will feature a 6.18-inch display with a 2246×1080 pixels screen resolution.

The device is reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 chipset and could come in two variants — one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and another with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the phone is expected to come with a 12MP + 13MP dual rear camera set-up with 4K video recording capability. On the front side, there’ll a 20MP selfie camera. The upcoming smartphone will feature a 3,400mAh battery, but there’s no mention of any fast charging technology.

It’ll be running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box, and will be available in Red, Silver and Blue color options. The Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to launch on 4th October alongside Nokia 7.1.

HMD Global has also sent out media invites for a launch event in India, which is scheduled to take place on 11th October. The company is expected to launch the Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus in the Indian market at that event.
