OnePlus has already revealed that its next flagship killer — OnePlus 5 will be unveiled globally on June 20. The Chinese smartphone giant has now dropped the official image renders via its Twitter handle and the interwebs are flooded with the Indian pricing details of the upcoming smartphone. This means that the OnePlus 5, if the leak is credible, has been priced lower than expectations cited in previous leaks.

Presently, OnePlus is selling its previous flagship smartphone — OnePlus 3, the 64GB variant, for as much as ₹29,999. We’ve been hearing the rumor mill churn out speculations that the Chinese giant is planning to aggressively price its next device — to make the same more competitive against its rivals.

But, the latest leak, which comes from a reliable source close to True-Tech, has uncovered the Indian pricing of the OnePlus 5. And the prices are lower than we had initially been expecting. The pricing table attached underneath shows that the 6GB/64GB low-end variant of the device will cost you ₹32,999 (approx $510) while the 8GB/128GB high-end variant will cost ₹37,999 (approx $590).

While we had been debating over leaked renders of the device, which surfaced earlier this week, OnePlus took it upon themselves to introduce the masses to the OnePlus 5 — or at least a part of it. The company has now given us a closer look at the dual-rear camera setup, which truly looks like it has been ported over from the iPhone 7 Plus.

This clearly portrays that OnePlus is placing extreme focus on the camera capabilities of the OnePlus 5, which is being designed in partnership with DxO Mark. It can, however, be seen that the dual-lens setup will be horizontal rather than being vertical — which some earlier leaks had suggested. Plus, how sleek is the new body though? Damn, the curvaceous build of the device had me taking my eyes off the camera setup in a moment’s time.

In addition, we already have knowledge of some of the basic deeds of the OnePlus 5, as the company has already confirmed some of them. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 835 processor, making it the first device with such processing power to be debuted in the country. The unveiling of the same happens on June 22 in Mumbai in India.

The device will potentially be made available in two different storage and memory variants i.e 6GB RAM+64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM+128GB internal storage. We believed the device will come with lower memory specs but OnePlus is going all out with the internals and it has been confirmed via Amazon India’s registration page, which went live just yesterday. The aforementioned prices suggest that both the variants will come to India, while we have no info on the internal availability of the OnePlus 5 as of now.
