Remember that Father’s day tease that Flipkart did for the price of iPhone 6 16 GB a few days back ? Well, the secret price is now out, and its a surprising (in all the positive manner) ₹21,999. Yup, for just around ₹20K or so, you can now get your hands on a 16GB iPhone 6.
This offer has been made live to commemorate Father’s Day that is set for June 18. The offer is valid only on the Space Grey variant, and Flipkart is also offering an additional Rs. 15,000 off on exchange of old smartphone. It is also offering a No Cost EMI option for SBI card holders. Furthermore, it is also offering a 5 percent off on Axis Bank Buzz credit cards as well.
Of course, its not the latest, but its not that outdated too. While iPhone 7 is already out there and an iPhone 8 launch is pretty much near (most likely September this year), iPhone 6 still continues to be in high-demand. It can be upgraded to the latest iOS, packs in Apple’s ever-powerful hardware and give the much hyped Apple experience, at a fraction of a cost.
As for the pricing of other iPhone model,s this special price goes on for the 32 GB space-grey model as well, which is available on Flipkart at ₹25,999 with exchange discount of up to ₹15,000. Similarly, iPhone SE 32GB in Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, and Space Grey colours can be purchased at a price of ₹21,999; the variant with 16GB storage is available at Rs. 20,999.
Do note though, that the listing pages for the iPhone 6 32GB as well as the two iPhone SE variants mention “Special Discount Ending Soon,” so these prices may not last long.
This will also perhaps one of those rare occasions, when a rather trending and popular version of the iPhone is available at a cost, comparable to the cheaper Android handsets. You can easily skip a Moto or a Lenovo or a Gionee/Oppo/Vivo, to get your hands on the iPhone 6, largely due to a similar price point.
For a quick spec run down, the iPhone 6 comes packed with a 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display, which may not satisfy the phablet-sized needs of today’s audience. It includes a 1,810 mAh battery, which is sufficient enough for this device.
