Apple forgot to mention it at the WWDC, or maybe it was a matter of lack of time. Regardless, the new Magic Keyboard brings in some sweet upgrades over its predecessor and is totally cool.

The new wireless magic keyboard comes with lightning charging and a redesigned scissor key mechanism. You also have a brand new and dedicated numeric pad. The keyboard also packs dedicated numeric pad, function keys, page up.down buttons and finally, four brand new navigation keys.

The arrow keys are pretty nice. Up until now, the keyboard merely had these half size up and down arrows. Now though, navigation is much more easier.

The Magic keyboard will require that you charge it around once every month, which is impressive for a device that needs constant bluetooth in order to stay connected. And in case you don’t feel like letting your work hang while charging the device, there is a USB to Lightning cable in the box as well.
