Sequoia Capital has managed to raise a massive $4 Billion in funding for different funds. This includes a growth fund and various market focused funds as well. The information comes from a string of SEC filings that were released yesterday.
The company has raised a solid $2 Billion for its second growth fund. It has also raised $900 million for the China growth fund IV, which will invest money in startups from that country. It has also raised $700 million for a similar fund, this one aimed at Indian startups.
The firm also mentioned a yet to close, US fund which opened up to business in 2012 and has raised a total o $475 million to date. This particular fund has maintained the status quo since 2013 but it appears as if the company could yet raise even more money to pump into startups backed using this fund.
