The British Airways’ massive IT failure has continued to haunt it. The company doesn’t appear to be anywhere near fixing it than when it first started. It has announced that flight cancellations will now continue for the rest of the day as well.

Following a major IT system failure this morning, we’ve cancelled all flights to and from Heathrow and Gatwick for the rest of today.

Customers are getting full refunds if they are not booking their flights again. However, there is no knowing when, the restoration of the systems will take place. The company has issued statements, refuting rumors that this was caused due to a cyber attack.

We believe the root cause was a power-supply issue and we have no evidence of any cyberattack.

Regardless, people continue to face massive problems a airports and what some say a lack of supervision, makes it very difficult to get out in the crowd.
