Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg returned to Harvard today to deliver a commencement speech. While the speech was very inspiring, Harvard’s student newspaper Crimson, had this headline:
BREAKING: Mork Zinkletink Zonks all over the Internet!
The newspaper also had a few articles that ridiculed the Facebook CEO, as he came back to where it all started from. Crimson has since then denied having a hand behind these articles and told TechCrunch:
Earlier today, The Harvard Crimson’s website was altered by an unauthorized user. We are currently working to repair the breach. We regret any inconvenience to our readers and look forward to the rest of Commencement.
Zuckerberg and The Crimson have shared a troubled past. As a student, Zuckerberg had allegedly hacked into the accounts of two Crimson editors so as to preview a story that had not gone to press yet.
The story revolved around claims that he had stolen the idea for his new website. Zuckerberg had apparently used failed login attempts from the editors on TheFacebook, to gauge their Crimson passwords.
