LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone — LG G6 is no secret. The company itself has been providing a lot of information regarding the phone. What’s not revealed by the company, has been revealed by several leaks. Now, a new set of photos of LG G6 has been outed, showing the new design and the display.
The photos suggests that the phone will have a very narrow bezels surrounding the display. Further, it also shows the always-on display on the flagship device. And the rounded corners of the display look truly stunning.
As we can see, the G6 sports a metallic Silver look, similar to what we’ve seen from Samsung in the past. Since there does not appear to be heavy reflections, we’re assuming that the back is not made of glass, and instead, the company has opted for a brushed metal look.
The device also has a dual camera setup on the back, along with a fingerprint sensor placed below the dual camera modules. The fingerprint sensor is also likely to double up as a power button.
The company has so far confirmed that the phone will have a ‘FullVision’ 5.7-inch display, with 18:9 ratio. LG offered a peek to its new LG UX 6.0 software, and also sent out a few teasers to various media outlets suggesting that it will feature ‘resistance’ and ‘reliability’. The company has also confirmed that the phone will have 32-bit Quad-DAC audio, like the LG V20.
Rumors regarding the specs of the device suggests that the G6 is expected to pack a Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM. It will have 32GB of expandable storage, and will be powered by a 3,200mAh battery.
The LG G6 will be unveiled on February 26 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The phone is expected to launch in the United States on April 7th.
