Espark-Viridian is a business accelerator, providing support and cross-sector expertise to growth seeking startups within the Indian startup ecosystem. Its vision is to help entrepreneurs transform their ideas into realizable businesses, by providing them with the right resources during it’s up to the 18-month program.

The accelerator is a joint venture between Viridian Ventures, and Entrepreneurial Spark, UK, with a belief to not only build a business, but also the entrepreneur behind the business. More than 50+ startups, ranging from tech to farming have benefited from the program.

In sync with government’s growing support to young entrepreneurs, Espark-Viridian in its endeavor to support entrepreneurs has expanded its acceleration program to Chandigarh and Mumbai in 2016. They have signed a MoU with leading university’s and colleges like Marwadi University, Rajkot and Silver Oaks Group of Institutes, Ahmedabad, to promote entrepreneurship among the youngsters in India.

The accelerator is currently in process of their February 2017 batch intake. They are inviting early and growth stage startups to apply for the program at for centers- Delhi, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, and Mumbai.

Espark-Viridian is a tested model adopted from its parent accelerator, Entrepreneurial Spark, UK, Europe’s most dynamic accelerator with an 88% success rate. The unique practice of providing enablement, that is, constant enabler support to entrepreneurs, is what sets them apart.

The program has simplified and structured their resident startup’s journeys by providing them with infrastructure, international exposure, sector expertise and constant mentoring, skill enhancement workshops, business-specific knowledge and opportunities to network and raise funding.
