After launching Vivo V5 in India, the Chinese smartphone maker has now launched its flagship smartphone — Vivo Xplay 6 — in China. The phone, which debuted in China, comes with a price tag of 4498 Yuan (approx. Rs 44,500).

Like many other flagship smartphones, Vivo is also offering dual display screen on the Xplay 6. It has a 5.46-inch display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, along with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 6GB of RAM and has 128GB of internal storage.

Along with the dual-display screen, there is also a dual camera setup on the back. The smartphone features a 12 MP primary camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, 4-axis OIS, and f/1.7 aperture. Besides 12 MP sensor, there is also a 5 MP sensor to capture depth. On the front, it has a 16 MP camera.

It has a fingerprint sensor placed on the home button. The Vivo Xplay6 has a bigger 4080mAh battery with Quick Charging support. As of the software, the phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based company’s own FunTouch OS 3.0. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 ac and GPS.

The Vivo Xplay 6 will go on sale in China from December 12. It will be available via Vivo’s retail stores and through various other online channels. There is no information available about the global availability of the device.

Earlier this week, the company launched its selfie-centric smartphone in the Indian market, Vivo V5. Priced at Rs. 17,980, the phone comes with a 20 MP front-facing camera. Another variant of the phone, dubbed Vivo V5 Plus, is also going to launch in January 2017.
