To foster and nurture entrepreneurship and build up the start-up ecosystem of Hyderabad, TiE Hyderabad has collaborated with Indian School of Business over the years to host TiE-ISB Connect on 26th-27th October. The event is aimed to enable the entrepreneurs to understand the power of disruptive entrepreneurship by providing insights on emerging domestic and global innovations, business trends, and competitive intelligence.
With ‘India Leapfrogs – Disruptive Technologies & New Business Models’, the event at ISB’s Hyderabad campus is scheduled to feature 6 grand keynotes, 6 panel discussions and 50 speakers over the two days. The Minister for IT, will also take a session on Startup ecosystem in Telangana and Disruptive technologies as the future.
The Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. K Chandrashekar Rao will be inaugurating the event along with Mr. KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT, MA & UD, Industries & Commerce, Public Enterprises, Sugar, Mines & Geology, NRI Affairs, Government of Telangana. The conference aims to showcase avenues for entrepreneurs to leapfrog to explosive growth rates by adopting newer technologies and latest business models in various sectors to the entrepreneurs. The event would offer specialized sessions on various sectors which includes Mobile, IoT & Analytics, eHealth, Skill India, FinTech and Make in India. In the Fireside chat, billionaire sessions, new business models and disruptions, learnings and un-learnings from iconic business successes & failures will be organized.
In the investor connect program, interested startups will also get an opportunity to pitch to the investor community and funding of upto INR 100 Crores is expected to be raised in this special program. The 6th Edition of the TiE-ISB Connect had attracted participation from over 600 professionals, 40 speakers and 30 venture capitalists in the year 2015. These numbers are expected to accrue during the 7th Edition of TiE-ISB Connect with more startups, eminent global leaders, investors participating in it. Over 20 successful entrepreneurs have already been signed up to share their success mantras with budding entrepreneurs.
