Koelnmesse has announced the appointment of Mathias Kuepper as the Managing Director of Koelnmesse Pte. Ltd. He joins the Board of Directors of subsidiary Koelnmesse Pte. Ltd., Singapore today. He succeeds Michael Dreyer who will now work as Vice President of Koelnmesse Asia Pacific.
Before being appointed Managing Director of the subsidiary Mathias Kuepper was its General Manager. His management activities will focus on the staging of Koelnmesse events in Southeast Asia and the expansion of business activities in the region’s market.

As Managing Director, Kuepper will work together with Michael, who has held this position since 2002 and will continue to be extensively involved in the expansion of Koelnmesse’s activities in the Asian market.
Mathias began his career at Koelnmesse in 2002 right after he completed his education. He has extensive knowledge of event and project management as well as many years of experience with strategic business development in Asia. To date, he has served in the Koelnmesse representative offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
Koelnmesse organizes and supervises around 80 trade fairs, exhibitions, guest events and special events in Cologne and in the most important markets worldwide. The subsidiary Koelnmesse Pte. Ltd., stages various leading trade fairs for the Southeast Asia region: the dental trade show IDEM Singapore, THAIFEX – World of Food Asia (a trade show for the food and beverage industry) and EmTech Asia, the world’s most important conference for emerging technologies.
