Facebook today (finally !) announced an embeddable video player at its F8 developer conference, thus pushing in further towards its now fairly known, video platform ambitions.

With the new code, users can simply generate an HTML code, similar to the ones you generate on YouTube You can simply copy and paste that code to your website to embed the designated facebook video.

This new way does away with that old, inconvenient way of embedding the link to that entire post, where the required video has been posted. While Facebook may have announced an embed feature, it should still be noted that this is extremely late, and it is still non-understandable as to why Facebook delayed such a feature.

Facebook has made its video ambitions pretty clear, owing to numerous news and partnerships in the past. The social networking giant recently also revamped video sections to provide a better video experience to its users.
