In a fresh leak of certification snapshots posted on NokiaPowerUser, it has come up that the RM-1072 and its family of variants may be called Lumia 640 / Lumia 645 upon their launch tomorrow at MWC.
Both the Lumias have the same, BV-T5C battery powering them up. They will also be coming up with those fluorescent colour cases we found on the 535. Both handsets (on of them expected to be Dual-SIM) are low-end devices, and will be launched specially for markets like India and Brazil.
However, what’s interesting to note, is the fact that, though these devices are priced in the lower tier, they are expected to sport mid-range specs, further confirming Microsoft’s renewed push towards capturing the massive ‘mid-range’ smartphone segment. Bot the devices are expected to sport an 8 MP Pureview rear snapper, bundled with 8 GB storage and a crisp 5-inch, 720p display.
Microsoft will make its official announcements tomorrow morning in Barcelona at 2:30am Eastern Time. Stay Tuned with us here to catch all the MWC action.
