Motorola today announced the second generation Moto X device in India. Yes, it is simply called Moto X (2nd gen) and not Moto X+1 as anticipated earlier.

The second gen Moto X is a serious improvement from its predecessor. This one packs in a strong, 2.5 ghz quad core Snapdragon processor. For graphics, you get a decent Adreno 330 graphics processor, and during our hands on with device, it faired quite well.

Moto X features a 5.2″ AMOLED display, with a 1080 p HD resolution. The phone displays at a stunning 423 PPI , which is truly amazing, considering similar phones in this range.

Motorola has worked diligently, on the camera front. The Moto X now features a 13 megapixel camera, which is a straight 5 MP bump from the first generation. We captured certain clicks from the same, and the color saturation levels looked pretty decent to us.

The Moto X comes with a non-removable, 2300 mAh battery with  4G LTE connectivity options available as per your location. It runs on 2GB of RAM and has an internal storage of 16 GB , which is the only option available as of now. Availability in India is expected to be late September, and no official word on price is out yet.
