Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro smartphones in the Indian market. Now, the China-based company is preparing to launch a new smartphone — Redmi Note 6 Pro. In the latest development, a couple of images of the Redmi Note 6 Pro’s retail box has leaked online, revealing some key specifications of the phone.
The leak shows that the phone will have a 6.26-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) full-screen notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. As for the camera, the device will have four cameras — on the back side and two on the front.
At the back side, the dual camera configuration will feature a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with 1.4µm pixel size and dual pixel autofocus. On the front side, there’s a 20-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary lens, with support for Portrait mode that enables bokeh-like effect.
The leaked images also reveal that the phone will pack 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage but there’s a possibility of 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant as well as 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The device will drive power from a 4,000mAh battery, but it’s not yet known if the battery supports fast charging or not.
The phone’s specs were also leaked earlier, which revealed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor, the same chipset that powers Xiaomi Mi A2 Android One smartphone. We are expecting that the Redmi Note 6 will be running Android Oreo-based MIUI out-of-the-box.
Xiaomi has not yet announced the launch date for the Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone, but since the retail box of the device has already been leaked, the launch of Redmi Note 6 Pro should happen soon.
