Instagram Stories has managed to reach a massive 250 million daily users! The huge, huge metrics was announced recently by the company. And with this, the feature has further widened its lead over Snapchat Stories by a very substantial margin.
Instagram Stories is a typical case of the children doing better than their parent. When Snapchat introduced its Stories feature to the world, it was something new and novel. And of course, people were hooked. The service did well in the beginning, although with Instagram, and Facebook and everyone else copying it as well growth slowed and it currently has around 166 million daily active users.
Meanwhile, this was also the time when apps like Instagram Stories first launched. However, unlike Snapchat, Instagram had vast troves of previous users to provide them with a new experience. Which was why Instagram Stories instantly caught up with everyone. And the number of users grew very, very rapidly.
